Utility Planet is the official blog for the column of the same name in The Spectrum Monitor. It replaces Utility World in the discontinued Monitoring Times magazine. Utilities are all VLF/LF/MF/HF (and sometimes low-band VHF) radio communications except broadcasting, CB, and non-emergency amateur. STS-122 Scrubs for 24 Hours
During a routine fueling of the LH2 tank, a possible open circuit caused two low-liquid-level sensors to malfunction. These are a mission critical system, forcing a scrub for at least 24 hours for troubleshooting. New tentative launch day is Friday.
